Introducing Symposium Speaker, Ikunna Onwuanibe

The Topaz Club is pleased welcome Ikunna Onwuanibe as a speaker at their Africa: The New Horizon Symposium.
Ikunna qualified as a medical doctor at the University of Nigeria. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health (Health Economics) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
She has worked as a General Practitioner in the United Kingdom for over 18 years. Her main interests are in prevention of non-infectious diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and women’s health. She believes that education is the most powerful tool which you can use to change the world.
She is a co-founder of the Be a Sister Foundation, a charity whose mission is to educate and empower young people to make better decisions. She is also a director of the Angel Rays Foundation, a charity that supports motherless babies’ home in Enugu, Nigeria.
